Overview and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will manage a program of work for the Cloud Capability team within the Department. They will have the project management skills and relevant work experience, in conjunction with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement. The ability to work as part of an agile team and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders is also a requirement. The Cloud Project Manager will be required to:
•Manage the delivery of multiple projects as a program of work
•Work closely with stakeholders both within the Cloud Capability team and the broader department
•Understand project goals and requirements, and manage stakeholder expectations and dependencies
•Manage project risks and issues and escalate as appropriate
•Facilitate and conduct meetings, presentations and workshops

Essential Criteria

1. Demonstrated experience (including Agile and Waterfall delivery) for infrastructure and/or application development
2. Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
3. Ability to implement differing delivery techniques to support a wide range of services. The department have multiple project teams delivering to deadlines that must be supported by the Cloud Delivery Team
4. Ability to rapidly change planning, reallocate resources and prioritise work to support other project teams with hard deadlines

Desired Criteria

1. Experience with the cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft 365 and Azure
2. Experience using DevOps practices for project delivery
